High Limit Keeps Tripping
1. Temperature sensor placement
The sensor should be positioned directly above the heater, a few inches below the ceiling.
2. Rock placement
Rocks packed too tightly can trap heat. Leave gaps for airflow. You should be able to see the heating elements glowing red through the rocks when operating.
3. Room and heater sizing
Confirm that your sauna room is within the recommended cubic footage for your heater. Insulation, glass and cold climates can affect performance.
4. Heat loss
Keep doors and windows closed during operation
Sauna Takes Too Long to Heat Up
1. Check the heating elements
Confirm that all heating elements are glowing when the heater is operating. A failed element may need to be replaced.
2. Check the temperature sensor and rocks
Verify that the temperature sensor is correctly positioned and that the rocks are stacked loosely enough to allow proper airflow.
3. Check room size and heat loss
Confirm that the sauna room is appropriately sized for your heater and that doors, windows and vents are not causing excessive heat loss.
Still taking too long?

Touchpad Error Codes
OPEN — Open Circuit
Usually indicates an issue with the temperature sensor. Check the sensor and all connections between the touchpad and sensor.
SHRT — Short Circuit
Indicates a short circuit. Have an electrician run new 18/2 wire. If the issue remains unresolved, new 18/4 wire may be required.
R300 — Touchpad Malfunction
Indicates a touchpad malfunction. If the touchpad remains permanently stuck on this error, submit a photo of the display through the support form. Replacement may be provided under warranty, where applicable.
Wi-Fi Won't Connect
1.Reset the breaker
Turn the breaker supplying power to your sauna OFF, then turn it back ON.
2.Perform a hard reset on the touchpad
Press and hold the F/C button and the upper arrow button on the left side of the touchpad simultaneously until the display reads “CL” (Clear). Repeat this process twice.
3.Connect through the app
Open the app and select the yellow “+” button to add a new sauna. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that your phone is connected to your Wi-Fi network. The app should prompt you to select your Homecraft sauna.
4.Select your Wi-Fi network
Once you have selected your sauna, the app will prompt you to choose a Wi-Fi network. Select your network, enter your Wi-Fi password, and complete the setup. Your new sauna should now appear on the app’s home screen. If the app gets stuck loading or cannot locate your sauna through Bluetooth or find your Wi-Fi network, repeat Step 2 and try connecting again.
5.Test your connection
Select your newly added sauna in the app and press “ON” to turn on the heater.
Please note: After pressing “ON” in the app, allow 10–15 seconds for it to engage.
Installation Notes
Touchpad Installation
Touchpads should be installed outside the sauna in a standard 2-gang electrical box.
Wiring Requirements
90°C-rated copper wire is required. Using aluminum wiring will void the warranty.
Outdoor Installations
Outdoor sauna installations require a weatherproof contactor box.
Contactor Noise
A slight humming sound from the contactor is normal during operation. If the humming is excessive, please submit a video through the support form so our team can assess it.
